Jennifer Brown

Client Relationship Manager

Jennifer Brown - p4260336 Jennifer & Kamaria

Jennifer, our client relationship manager, joined CFG Wealth Management in 2013 with an extensive background as an executive assistant. In her role, she coordinates marketing strategies, manages office operations, oversees staff, and adds an extra touch when addressing client requests. By streamlining the firm’s operations and enhancing efficiency, the advisors can spend more time serving clients and growing the firm. Jennifer also plans memorable client events, such as the firm’s recent 10th Anniversary Celebration which included an MIT AgeLab presentation, gifts for clients (custom cheese cutting boards), and a special visit from Kamaria, an African eagle owl.

Jennifer Brown - Anagama Kiln

Outside the workplace, Jennifer enjoys putting the finishing touches on raising her children as they pursue their work and college careers. She happily admits that this commitment does require visiting her oldest daughter in Washington DC, or spending a long weekend deep in the forest with her youngest daughter at a clay retreat stocking the 2,500° kiln with freshly chopped wood.

Closer to home, she volunteers as a freelance French interpreter for Congolese refugees in the community and assists immigrants from the Congo and Iraq in their resettlement in Portland. There is nothing quite like explaining everyday marvels to refugee families, such as the big blue box with the secret compartment that swallows mail and magically flies it to anywhere in the world. One family remained in disbelief and wanted to test it to see if it was true. After snapping a photo of the family, Jennifer helped them mail the snapshot to their relatives in Africa. A phone call later confirmed that the magic box does actually work! Such successes keep Jennifer focused on welcoming refugees.

Christopher Goetz, AIF®

I have been in the financial services business for more than 20 years and am a founding partner at CFG Wealth Management since its inception in 2005. My focus is to help employers, business owners, and every participant get the most out of their retirement plan. What really drives me in what I do is seeing a participant be on track for their financial goals while easing the burdens of the employers’ administrative and fiduciary requirements.

In what now seems a prior life, I earned my BA in political science from Oregon State University and graduated from the Wharton School's Executive Program in Retirement Planning. As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®), I possess a thorough understanding of legislative issues, fiduciary best practices, and a commitment to the standards of investment fiduciary excellence.  What this means to you is that I have no conflicts of interest, no proprietary product, and can deliver no-nonsense, straight-forward advice to my plan participants.

Chris kids photo

Outside of the office, it’s all about my wife and kids. My 10-year-old son is active in Cub Scouts and I am all in as the Cubmaster. My eight-year-old daughter is still my princess and she, like the whole family, loves time off in sunny locations, Hawaii being the favorite. My two-year-old daughter is active and although a mommy’s girl, is coming around as she gets older.

We have a strong commitment to our church and love to give time, talent, and treasure to Habitat for Humanity and Catholic Charities. We believe in bettering our community and those we share it with. We even spent my wife’s 40th birthday building a home for a family in need; her idea, honest.

I am an avid cook and love to take a day preparing French meals for friends and family. The recipe that everyone asks for is my beef tenderloin in a bacon port sauce. I grew up around the wine industry and have a lifelong ambition to find that perfect bottle of red for less than $25.

The same passion that I approach life with, the passion that fulfilled my childhood dream of flying airplanes by earning my pilot's license while still in high school, is the passion I want to bring to you and your company.

Dave Pullin

Currently Dave supports Portland-area charitable causes. He serves as a board member of Saint Child, a faith-based non-profit maternity home that provides for the needs of young women and their babies caught in the cycle of abuse, poverty, and neglect. He also commits to running in the Race for the Roses each year that benefits Albertina Kerr, an organization helping children, adults, and families with mental health challenges and development disabilities. He is happy to report that he has finished every race and receives a beautiful Portland rose as he crosses the line.

Dave and his wife, Carol, are now empty nesters after raising their son Sean and daughter Kelly. Sean works in corporate finance in Portland, where he lives with his wife, Hayley. Kelly is an intensive care nurse living and working in Salem. Dave and Carol enjoy staying active. They kayak on rivers and lakes in the Portland area as well as near their vacation home in Gearhart. Playing nine holes of golf together has become a common occurrence. Recent trips to China and Scotland are travel highlights. While in Scotland, Dave was able to connect with several relatives of his Scottish grandparents. Many more “bucket list” excursions are being discussed. Stay tuned.
